TX Bucketlist 1 of 50: (#15 Dallas, TX)

First TX Scratch-off item in the Texas Bucket list Adventure Challenge of 2026!We have decided to get to know Texas and use this Bucket List Challenge to get to know our state and do fun things around town (and far away in other towns!)

This one took us to play Mini Golf at Another Round in Dallas, TX! ON New Year's Day we scratched off the adventure card and planned our trip to conquer this adventure! We made an appointment online to reserve our spot at 1:15pm. You don't really need a reservation because the place has plenty of space and flexibility to complete the two sided course however you want. There is a full bar and an outside play area. There are also many places to sit and enjoy time and games with family and friends.

The courses were a bit on the nutty side and we struggled at times to figure out where they were going or what we have to do. There isn't a sheet to help you figure out the par of each hole, and you use an online tracker to keep score. My favorite one was the purple rain one tribute to Prince because it had this awesome motorcycle.

In some spots, things were a little tight and I didn't really feel too safe completing the shots, but we got through it. Dallas had been nice and cool since we got back from Christmas in SC, but, as things go, today decided to be extra warm, so my jacket quickly became a liability.

Eric had no trouble making some of the crazy shots, he is stronger and better at balancing than I am, but this curve right here drove us nuts! How is one even supposed to make this shot and who in the world came up with this insanity?

The host had informed us when we came in that they had a digital golf course, but honestly, I love real golf. I also love mini golf, but this was not really it. Maybe because you need to drink before doing the courses and you need to not be hot to walk around and get through them. Perhaps hubby and I are just too competitive and this was a bit too different for us? We need structure!

Overall, if you don't care about a crazy challenge and are just there to have a silly good time, this mini golf spot is a nice one to come and hang out in. They have space and games outside and we enjoyed a few rounds of corn roll. It is also unlimited so you can continue to enjoy the madness until you are satisfied with the results.

I believe the heat affected us because some of the courses were so crazy that we were so confused as to how to even begin, but if we had not been hot, we would have tried again. It sure was challenging, but we are not in a hurry to go back yet or take anyone there, so we are still looking for the perfect mini golf spot in Dallas!

We spent some time outside trying to cool off and working on our corn hole skills (I have none!). If you want to play you need to ask the bartender for the little sacks and play until you are sick of it! They also have Giant connect four and plenty of space and picnic tables to hang out and have a good time. They have some board games inside you can check out and play out here, so if you don't have a yard to hang out with friends, or need the space, I do recommend this outside space!

After the mini golf date, we needed to cool off so we went to the movies to watch Avatar (Fire and Ash) and that was phenomenal! First, it was great to be in the AC! Second, in Cinepolis you can scan their menu and order food, which they bring to your seat! Overall a great time was had! We are big movie buffs so a good seat and a great movie is all we need!
