2026 Texas Bucket List Challenge!

We are excited to announce that in 2026 we will be getting to know our beautiful state of TEXAS and sharing the adventures with all of you! 2024 and 2025 took us by surprise, and we experienced a lot of changes, but we are looking to ground ourselves in 2026 and get to sharing our travel experiences.

We will be working with the RIO Adventure Bucket List and The Secret Traveler Texas Bucket List for 2026.

Since home base is North Texas, we started with our Dallas card. Eric picked #15, and we cannot wait to reveal and share what we will be doing! We will work to complete all 50 challenges in 2026 and do as many of the Traveler's Secret Bucket List items as we can. Of course, we already have our National Parks Texas Adventures booked, so stay tuned for that! Are you ready to take the challenge with us? Why this challenge?

2025 was a year of epic travel and epic work. It has been difficult living between two states and sorting all things out. In the first half of 2025, we struggled with working full-time as teachers and completing the probate process in Texas. We had travel plans we wanted to complete, and healing from the grief of losing Eric's mom was daunting. We had planned to share our adventures on this blog, and then life just kept smacking us with tasks that took us away from building this blog (don't worry, those are still in the works!) So, now we have decided to find a doable task to help us refocus in 2026 and organize our travel life to bring you adventures, fun and travel info! Thank you for encouraging us and standing by us as we reorganize our lives, retire from teaching and move to Texas~
