Northern Lights in Anchorage!

What an amazing adventure! Have you ever wanted to see the Northern Lights? Well, get you a travel guide that knows what they are doing because it is truly breathtaking! Someone who knows what they are doing can make or break the experience.

In our case, when we visited Anchorage, we did our best to research what cimpany to use and what days to try to schedule them on. It was cold, it was late and it was worth it! The company we used monitors the skies and lets you know if the conditions are right for the day you scheduled. If not, they will reschedule so they need your arrival and departure to accommodate.

We started at 9pm and saw some action at around 11pm, but this amazing sky view took place at around 2:20 AM, after the other group had left. What a stunning site! Our guide was knowledgeable and offered so much info and great stories! She was an amazing photographer and helped us pose under Lady "A", as she calls the Aurora Borealis.
